Blond Me shows her metal when scoring another 2015 Stakes race for her sire Tamayuz
The Andrew Balding trained Blond Me put her own sex to the sword as she scalped through the 11 strong field in the Coral Distaff Listed race at Sandown over the mile. Ridden from the back by David Probert the Chestnut Tamayuz filly cut through the field in the final furlong to deny Montalcino and Ryan Moore.
Bred by Mark Clarke of Wardstown Stud, Blond Me was a £65,000gns purchase by her trainer Andrew Balding from the Tattersalls Yearling Autumn sales at Newmarket. She is out of the Docksider mare Holda and is owned by Mr & Mrs R M Gorell.
In a race won by subsequent Group 1 winner Intregal, the Tamayuz filly looks sure to be progressing and Group level is now the obvious target.
