Impressive Royal Ascot performance by INTIKHAB’s daughter

22nd June 2006

One of the most impressive performances at Royal Ascot was by Intikhabs daughter, Red Evie, who, despite meeting a heap-full of trouble in running, produced a superb turn of foot to get up close home and beat a big field for the Listed Sandringham Handicap on Wednesday. This was the fillys fifth consecutive victory in 2006 no mean achievement in itself.

After the race, her trainer, Michael Bell, indicated that she might be significantly upped in class to contest the Gr.1 Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket or at least contest a lesser Group race in the near future adding credence to the impression that Red Evie is a filly of immense potential..
