Thawaany’s Impressive Listed Win Brings Tamayuz to 15% 3yo’s Stakes Horses To Runners.
Sheikh Hamdan’s Tamayuz filly showed Paris what she was capable of when easily landing the Prix Coronation, Listed event over a mile at Saint-Cloud on the 27th of September.
Trained by Freddy Head and ridden by Oliver Peslier the classy Tamayuz filly broke mid division but soon moved to head the field. A quick change of the reins saw her lead by three of four lengths and eased down to secure the €27,500 prize.
Consigned by Airlie Stud and out of the Desert King mare Chelsea Rose, Thawaany was purchased by Shadwell for €220,000 as a foal. She brings to 12 individual stakes horses achieved by her sire Tamayuz to date.
