Stakes victory for INTIKHAB’s daughter

20th May 2010

Snow Fairy easily landed the Listed Height of Fashion Stakes on the same card from Pipette (Pivotal), with long time leader Deirdre (Dubawi) in third. Her victory was even more admirable, bearing in mind that she tripped badly leaving the stalls, losing a shoe in the process.

The three-year-old daughter of World Champion Miler Intikhab, who was third in the Gr.3 Prestige Stakes at the same course on her last start as a juvenile, does not currently hold a Gr.1 Oaks entry, but according to her trainer Ed Dunlop, her next target is more likely to be the Gr.2 Ribblesdale Stakes.

Bred by Windflower Overseas Holdings and a Tattersalls Ireland graduate, she is out of a half-sister to the Gr.3 Furstenberg-Rennen winner and sire Big Bad Bob (Bob Back), from the family of the dual Gr.3 winner Elusive Pimpernel and the Classic winners and sires Pelder and Oath.
